Project Description
The slimLAUNCH.Passwords extension enables slimKEYS users to store, manage and search for password entries by typing only a few letters from their title. Then, they can copy the username, email or password in the clipboard for pasting, or open the associated web site.
Goal
Since this extension is used for encrypting and managing sensitive data, I felt it was my responsability to open its sources. Now that
slimKEYS is free, there is no more excuses for not doing so. The sources found under this project are an exact copy of what is used to build the
slimKEYS package, except for the strong name and digital signature. Since the rest of the slimKEYS product is not (yet?) open source, I will continue to build, use my own strong name, digitally sign and distribute the product and its extensions (including slimLAUNCH.Passwords) myself, but people can either check these sources to identify bugs and flaws, or even recompile their own copy of this extension, and disable the one I'm providing with the full package.
